Replika Publishing, Berlin 2016

Identity and website for Replika Publishing, a small independent publishing company founded by Freya Copeland and Youvalle Levy in Berlin. Focused on the act of replication, the identity system emphasises on the aspect of human error and the uncontrollable effects of analog chance. Based on the foundation of archiving system true to Replika’s spirit, the designed language is an equal mix of minimal bureaucratic forms and organic handwriting and stamps. The “R” logo is itself numbered depending on the function it fills and henceforth has its own archival system. Publication designed by Studio Skulptur.
